If you’re an existing customer, you’ll need to move your Alinta Energy account and submit a moving truck booking request at least ten business days before your moving day. We recommend doing it as early as possible to have a better chance of booking the Alinta Energy moving truck.

If you’re a new customer, you’ll need to sign up and move with Alinta Energy at alintaenergy.com.au/moving-home – allow time for the ten day cooling off period.

You’ll be able to move your Alinta Energy account and book the booking truck up to 60 days in advance of your moving day.

A 4 hour free move with the Alinta Energy moving truck will provide you with a professional removal service equal to two removalists and a moving truck for four hours.

We understand that not every move is the same. Some moves are much larger and may involve additional labour and trucks.

So beyond this time, a discounted rate will be provided by Adlam Transport which you can read about in our terms and conditions here.

Adlam Transport will undertake a survey by phone or email and provide you with professional advice on what is required to complete a professional and efficient move.

If you use the Alinta Energy moving truck (or another discounted moving truck provided by Adlam Transport) and you leave within 90 days of signing up for a gas account, you may be liable to reimburse Alinta Energy for any costs Alinta Energy has incurred as a result of your move.

Your move date can’t be guaranteed or secured until after your survey has been completed and your paperwork returned to Adlam Transport.

It is only at this time that Adlam Transport are able to check if the Alinta Energy moving truck is available for your requested moving date. If it’s not available on your requested move date, Adlam Transport will attempt to accommodate your request with another available day, as close to your required date as possible. 

If there’s already a move booked for the day you want, you’ll still receive a discounted rate on another moving truck provided by Adlam Transport, which will be included in your paperwork.

You must be an Alinta Energy customer at your move in address to book our moving truck – either move your account online or call 13 13 58.

Then, you’ll need to complete our booking request online. 

Adlam Transport will be in contact within 2-3 business days to organise an in-home survey and confirm the availability of our moving truck. If there’s already a move booked for the day you want, you’ll be offered a discounted rate on another moving truck provided by Adlam Transport.

Adlam Transport will stay in contact with you throughout your move and on your moving day.

Each eligible Alinta Energy customer may request the Alinta Energy moving truck once per supply address.

Alinta Energy customers can receive a move for free, up to the time limit of four hours. Customers will be required to pay Adlam Transport for any time over four hours at a discounted rate set out in our terms and conditions here. Alinta Energy customers will be responsible for any optional charges that may be offered by Adlam Transport such as insurance.

If there’s already a move booked for the day you want, you’ll receive a discounted rate on another moving truck provided by Adlam Transport.

If your move goes beyond 4 hours, you’ll receive a discounted rate for each additional hour that is payable directly to Adlam Transport. The discounted rate details are contained in the terms and conditions here .

Where a complaint is raised, Adlam Transport will address it in an equitable, objective and unbiased manner.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your move, please contact Adlam Transport as soon as possible on (08) 9206 9100.

Cancellations

• Please be aware that you’re bound to your contract with Adlam Transport and may be subject to late cancellation fees. Any cancellation fees will be set out in your contract with Adlam Transport.

Rescheduling

• The Alinta Energy moving truck may already be booked on the new moving day you want to reschedule to. If there’s already a move booked for the day you want, you’ll receive a discounted rate on another moving truck provided by Adlam Transport.
